Tolerance analysis

Mechanical designs are complex systems which can consist of a large amount of different parts and assemblies. The inevitable variations in all these parts will influence their ability to come together and function properly as a system.

Tolerance stack-up analysis is a method which allows you to confidently predict in advance the effect tolerances will have on your design. This not only helps in speeding up the design and integration process of a new machine, but also allows you to make well founded trade-offs between part accuracy and cost.

Together with Mikrocentrum I teach tolerance analysis as a three day course either at Mikrocentrum or as an in-house course. For more information click here to visit to the Mikrocentrum website.
